In 1999 I suffered from Cerebral Thrombosis and the side effects from the medication I received damaged some of the nerves in my legs causing me to have severe pains in my left leg especially. Walking was always painful and I took medication to control this pain four times a day. When the announcement came about the Healing Conference and Rev harry Gomes coming to minister I started praying that I would receive my healing. In the week leading up to the conference I woke up at 4am and prayed.

I also began listening to a past teaching of Dr Jerome and also remembered Pastor Ruth’s encouragement during Inspire sessions and that is when I decided to take my healing seriously. I told God that I wanted to be healed and didn’t want to have to take medication four times a day. On Friday 17th at the close of the first session, Rev Gomes made an alter call and as I got up to the front, I prayed to God again saying to him that I am looking to him and him only for my healing. As I stood at the alter I felt a sensation in my leg from my toes, then the sensation shot up to my hip. I knew then that it was done! I was healed. I praised God and since then I have been power walking! A big thank you to Pastors Jerome and Ruth!

Before the healing conference I had sinus problems for over ten years. I always had nasal congestion and this had caused swelling in my sinuses and painful headaches. Doctors said that I had allergies and recommended sinus tablets. These would work for a couple of days and then the problems would start again. After a while my body built up a resistance to these tablets and so they became less effective. I would wake up in the morning with headaches which only seemed to wear off with very strong coffee. But I soon realised that I was beginning to rely on coffee for relief of the headaches even though it was not resolving the real problem.

That is when I decided enough was enough. I asked myself ‘Why can’t God heal me?’ I decided to stop relying on coffee and tablets and rely on the word of God! After going forward for prayer at the Friday night session of the Healing Conference, I felt the pressure instantly go from my nose. After that there was no more pain. When I got home I continued to confess the word of God over myself and believe that I am healed of the sinus problems. After more than ten years of blocked sinuses and headaches, I am healed and I now wake up every morning with no headaches, breathing freely! Praise God!
